[Haunts] All New Scares for the House Shock's 21st Year of Terror!

Time to head down to the original city of sin, New Orleans for news out of The House of Shock.

These bad boys of the haunt world have a pretty incredible line up in store for folks this year. Celebrating their 21st year in business, they're pulling out all the stops to cause as many heart attacks and panic disorders as humanly possible.

Seriously, I love these guys and have always admired their haunt from afar. One of these days I'm sure that I'll make it down there to cover their event because it's just that insane and I wouldn't miss it if given the chance to attend. This year they've gone completely over the top with things.

Not only have they revamped their entire haunt, but they've expanded their outdoor swamp portion of the maze and they have an entirely new climax to whole thing that is even more intense than before. As if that weren't enough, they've gone and added a whole festival to the outside of the place!

In the past there was always a lot going on, but this year...damn, they've added a ton of new things but don't just take my word for it...

Now, The House of Shock is much more than just a haunted house... It is a HALLOWEEN FESTIVAL with food, live entertainment, a full bar and more pyrotechnics in 5 minutes than you see in an entire KISS stage show!!

We have remodeled our entire event and now have plenty of areas to just hang out and watch the freaks! Come on down and get a dose of Liquid Courage from our full service bar or something to eat from the ORIGINAL Hell's Kitchen! Watch national bands on the House of Shock Music Stage and our NEW Multi-Media Stage Show complete with live actors, stunts and pyrotechnics!

So if The House of Shock was too intense for you before... Now you can come out to enjoy the festival and watch all of your friends, family and total strangers get the $#!+ scared out of them! There is no better entertainment than that!

Holy crap, that's a lot to digest in one shot. What the hell are they mixing in their drinks down there in New Orleans? Whatever it is...I want some! That's all in addition to a huge line up of live bands and other insanity that they have planned for this year. Like what? How about riding a giant spider?! Yes, you read that right...these guys really are just that crazy.

This year's House of Shock runs select nights from Sept 13th thru Nov 1st and opens up at 8:30pm every night. There's no closing time, but the box office does close at 11:30pm. However, they aren't selling any advanced tickets other than their VIP passes on their website right now, which go for $50 a person and get you to the front of the line and a few other goodies.
