[Haunts]/Check into Hotel Argento at Fright Dome

Fright Dome has announced that this year they will increase their haunt count by one, to a total of six within the 250,000sqft space. This is the first time they've gone outside  Just what will the newest piece of insanity be? Well, they've teamed up with Fortress Features to create an experience based on their popular horror film, The Collector.

Argento Hotel is yet another "Alone House" kind of attraction and it's only accessible to those who purchase their Fast Pass option, which ranges from $48-$58 depending on the night you're there. Unlike some other upcharge events, this seems like a reward for being able to skip the long lines for their other attractions rather than just paying extra. Can't say that I have much to argue with this thinking at all.

So, what can you expect from this new experience to grace the madness inside the dome? Well, here's a little on that from a recent Vegas News article about just that...

Separated from friends and forced to enter alone, guests will forge their way through traps and snares, the Collector’s demented assortment of barely coherent victims, museum-esque displays of lifeless prey and much more. All while being hunted themselves.
Jason Egan, owner and creator of Fright Dome said, “We’ve always had one of the top haunted attractions in the nation and I have been able to team up with amazing movie partners for incredible themes over the years. I couldn’t think of a better fit for our isolation-style haunted house, or for any haunted house for that matter, than the story behind THE COLLECTOR. The overall premise behind the movie is every horror fan’s worst nightmare- being singled out and hunted by a devious villain. I’m thrilled that our fans have embraced this event every year allowing us to grow and make this year truly the most ominous yet.”
It should also be noted that Egan and the rest of the Fright Dome team is working very closely with the production team from The Collector in order to make this a truly unique and true to the feel of the movie style attraction. From the sounds of it, they definitely have a very interesting concept going and if I were any closer, I'd be very tempted to see just what they had up their sleeves for this one!

Fright Dome's opening night is Thursday, October 3rd and runs on selected nights from Oct. 3-Oct 31st at Circus Circus in Las Vegas, NV. For more information about tickets, hours and all sorts of other details check out their official website.
