Ditching the past theme of "The Darkside of the Gardens" for this year's "The 13", they've really gone off the deep end with things in the icon department. So much so that I can't even figure out where all of them are going...if anywhere.
Either way, they've definitely found the box of nightmare fuel and decided to pour the whole thing out for this year's event. Hopefully it's not too much...who knows what'll happen. The things we do know? Well, they're listed below.

Alright, there's a ton of info out of the way there. I'm not even sure how most of these are going to fit into houses outside of the few that we already know. They do get their own scare zone though...so maybe that's where a good bit will end up along with some wandering through the park on a nightmarish rampage. One can only hope that's the direction the Howl-O-Scream creative team is going in...

That about does it for this year's new mazes, but don't fret...there's still all original scare-zones coming for this year as well. As if everything so far wasn't enough, but what's a Halloween event in a theme park without massive scare-zones? Let's take a look at what Busch Gardens has cooked up, shall we?

So there's the new scare-zones for this year and we've at least figured out where a good bit of The 13 will be...well, those not in their own house that is. Still not sure on the other ones. Whew...there we have it. Everything going on at this year's Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa. Well, okay...not quite. One more thing. Fiends makes it return for 2013 as well! Yeah, this thing is getting out of hand with how much they're tossing at us, ain't it?
Is there a doctor in the house? These captivating creatures of the night will infect you with dance fever and keep your pulse pounding with their deranged dance party.
But when Dr. Freakenstein’s naughty nurses start operating, the diagnosis is always “code pink.”
Okay, now we're done. I swear it this time, there's nothing left to announce or reveal here...it's all up there somewhere. While it was a blast covering all this live, I have to say that I'm thankful it's over too! The only thing left now is for +Carrie H.C. and I to attend HOS 2013 in just a few weeks and report on all the madness!
Tickets for this year's event run anywhere from $30 (first two Thursdays), $55 on Fridays and $65 on Saturday nights. Of course you can always go for the "Thrills & Chills" tickets which give you admission to the park during the day and Howl-O-Scream at night for only $89.99. The cool thing about these is that they're good for Friday-Sunday. So that's 3 days and nights for $90! Not bad...
Of course I'd be remiss to not mention the Front Line Fear passes that are offered as well. For either $40 or $50 you can get past the lines. The $50 Front Line Fear Extreme pass is good for not only the mazes, but also a one time use on each of the coasters at Busch Gardens as well. Not bad for an extra $10. Both passes also include 20% off at all gift shop locations as well as unlimited buy one get one free for ride pictures as well!
