[Haunts] Bennett's Curse Celebrating 13 Years of Fear

Back to the "smaller" guys now that we've had our fill of the larger chain parks out there. This time we're headed down to Jessup, MD to take a look at what's new for Bennett's Curse.

Celebrating it's 13th year of operation, they've definitely got a few new surprises up their sleeves for everyone who dares to enter their nightmare fueled world of terror.

I'll be honest, this is one that I'm hoping +Carrie H.C. and I can get to as part of the 2013 Haunt Tour because it looks completely mental. That and being considered one of the top haunts in the country by America's Best Haunts is no laughing matter either.

Now I'm not entire sure what's going on here, at first glance, but it would seem that 13 new demons, vampires, monsters and other otherwise unpleasant folks are joining the party for this year's event. It does seem to be quite the showdown at Castle Bennett in 2013 and a lot of these guys have some pretty heavy credentials backing them up. To put it lightly, not the types to run into in a dark alley after you've made fun of their mother in the bar.

So, just what do the Bennett's have in store for us this year? Well, let's meet 'em shall we? Yes...I said them.

Rognock

Commands 75 legions of the Dark One's most vile soldiers.  Rognok was the first of his kind created by The Dark One himself as he was  hewn from the infernal bedrock that formed in the Inferno over thousands of years.  The millions of souls fused with blood and ash seething with hatred had cemented and formed an impenetrable but living rock.

Well, he sounds like a ton of fun doesn't he? I mean just look at the guy. Not exactly the poster boy for "playing nicely with others" here. Have to say, wouldn't mind having a drink with him though...if he drinks that is.

Lord Dakhanavar

Vampire warrior king of the eastern vampyre covens. The first human to rise to the rank of lordship in the Vampyre clans and is therefore the only Vampyre leader not originally from the Inferno. Lord Dakhanavar was created in the likeness of Danag, the vampyre general who converted him just before his death upon the battlefield.

Another fun one on our hands it seems. Definitely not one to party with though, sounds a bit too intense for that kind of thing. I'm thinking double espresso for this guy, what could possibly go wrong?

Dantalion and Mirloth

Dantalion the demon known as the first "Warrior Priest". A dark mystic, he was the  creator of all the world's black magic and commands 60 legions. He was the first demon to introduce ceremonial worship into the Underworld. He is very ancient, as evident by his horns which were earned through dedicated service to the Dark One and usually reserved for the oldest demons.

Mirloth, was also part of the cult of half priest half warrior demons. Though not as old or powerful as his leader Dantalion, he is a faithful servant and possessing terrible mystical power which he uses well against his enemies.

Oh boy, now we get a pair of winners with faces only a mother could love. Ever get the feeling that there's a war about to break out here with all the mentions of legions and other such? Maybe we should keep all of them away from the booze stash...could be safer.

Agramon

Agramon was often called the "scourge of humanity".  Agramon killed and converted more humans than all other vampires behind Gorgoth. He is a fanatical warrior and feared Vampyre General.

Another vampire into the mix with this one and I can't say I'm surprised. Then again, this one looks like the partier out of the bunch. I mean, just look at him...my bet's on this guy really getting around and enjoying some time to kick back. Need to after all that slaying of humans, right?

Wait, I know my maths aren't the greatest but that's only 5. I'm getting the feeling that there's another 8 that are either going to be announced or just unleashed upon the unsuspecting public when they arrive. Kinda pulling for that latter idea to be honest, why give away the cards when ya don't have to, right?

Either way, I'll be keeping a close eye on what's going on down there in Jessup, MD to see if any more of our party pals get announced in the coming weeks before the event starts up on Sept 21st. Speaking of that, Bennett's Curse runs on select nights from Sept 21st thru November 3rd.
