[Haunts] Midnight Syndicate Live! Legacy of Shadows Coming to Cedar Point's HalloWeekends

Last Friday, the composing duo of Edward Douglas and Gavin Goszka that make up Midnight Syndicate will be performing live at Cedar Point's HalloWeekends this Sept. 12th  thru November 1st on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Douglas and Goszka are responsible for some of the most iconic music tracks used in haunts, films and theater. If you need spooky, these are the guys to go to.

The new show, Midnight Syndicate Live! Legacy of Shadows, will be the first ever live performances for Edward and Gavin as Midnight Syndicate. In November of last year, the band cancelled their Midnight Syndicate Live! Kickstarter campaign citing an "exciting possible opportunity" that they needed to explore that would result in a "win-win" for both the team and fans alike. Looks like we now know what that opportunity was.

"HalloWeekends is the perfect place to launch the first Midnight Syndicate Live! experience," said Douglas. "The venue is awesome and will allow us to fully realize the exciting, one-of-a-kind show we first envisioned. We're also really psyched to be working with a legendary amusement park that Gavin and I grew up with." Charles Bradshaw, Corporate V.P. of Entertainment for Cedar Fair, added, "Working with these industry leading music producers on a live show is an exciting prospect. The final product is going to amaze."

Additionally some other big names in the horror industry are also attached to the project,  including Robert Kurtzman (From Dusk Til Dawn), Gary Jones (Boogeyman, Axe Giant), Beki Ingram (Faceoff), and more.

Personally, I could think of a million better events to do this with, but hey, that's their call. It is awesome that they're finally getting to do the show, however, and that it's something that we here at Kitsunverse might be able to attend during Haunt Tour 2014. Hopefully this also will mean that Cedar Point will decide to revamp some of it's older Haunts within the park as well, some of them have been around for 8+ years now. Time to step the game folks!
