[Haunts] Castle Blood Announces New 2014 Location!

Yep, you read that right, Monessen's Castle Blood is moving into a brand new building, and oh my what a move it is.

For the past couple of years Castle Blood has been in a converted office building and while they did an amazing job theming it, the new location should provide not only atmosphere but the ability to make an even more one of a kind haunt.

Hot off the heels of winning the DAFE favorite seasonal haunt award, they announced last night on Facebook that they're moving into a 100% real funeral home for 2014 and beyond!

You can't get much better than that kind of location and it's so fitting for these folks that it hurts, in a good way. Top that off with the fact that it's only a few blocks down the road from their previous location and it's nothing but a win/win here. Now, where can I get one of these?!

For those that haven't been keeping track, this will be the 5th location for Castle Blood since their opening way back in 1993. Moving around can be a very difficult and trying process for any business and it's only magnified when it's a haunt. Not only is it a costly endeavor, but it's a technically challenging one as well. That said, I have no doubt that Gravely and the rest of the Castle Blood denizens will be able to turn this into yet another Halloween masterpiece. I hope for them that this truly is the last time that they have to do this and their new home is theirs for good.

If you're curious about how you can help, they've already started their fundraising for the 2014 season and it's quite a deal for those looking to help one of the best haunts in the entire country. Not only that, but you can be a part of the place too! So, definitely check out all the details about that. More opportunities to help out will be coming soon too, so keep an eye out.

Castle Blood's opening night is Friday, October 3rd this year and I can't wait to see what they do with this place! For more information about Castle Blood, check out their official website or follow them on Facebook and Twitter!
