[Cosplay] The Costuming of Anime North's Saturday Night Masquerade - Part 1

Okay, now that we've gotten the amazing hall cosplay from last weekend's Anime North out of the way, it's time to move on to the masquerade. There were some really amazing entries this year and quite a few awesome efforts from the novice division at that.

Overall, things seemed to be a little down from last year as far as the grand scheme of things goes, but with Costume Con just a couple of weeks earlier it's not hard to see why.

Many folks went all out for that and didn't want to show up to Anime North with the same things. Again, just an observation there and what we did get at this year's masquerade was just as good as previous years as well!

So, let's move on with the pictures, shall we?

Once again this year's event was emceed by Gravely MacCabre and assisted by Holly and the Anime North Ninjas. They're a special breed, that's for sure. Either way, as always they started off with the younger divisions and while there was only a couple of entries, it's still nice to see that it's being kept around. More cons should do this for sure! But before we get to that...the judges for this year's event.
