[HHN] Demoncracy Takes Over Universal Singapore for Halloween Horror Nights 4

We've already met Minister Jonah Goodwill, but now his plans and true nature have been fully reveled and it's not looking so good for the people who voted him in. This year, he's ruling Halloween Horror Nights 4 at Universal Singapore with an iron fist for 13 nights of fear from October 3rd thru November 1st.

Just how that came to pass is probably one of the coolest event reveals I've seen in a long while. Not only was the whole event set up like a campaign victory/inauguration event, but there was a whole stage show that went along with it. Like last year, this year's event will feature 4 haunted houses and 4 scare zones throughout the park. One of them, long time fans of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando will definitely recognize for sure. So, let's get on with the rundown for this year's event!

First up, the houses for this year!

Experiments abound in this one and by the looks of what they were showing on stage, it's very similar to the look of Alien. I wonder if this might be the rumored "Aliens" maze that folks have been talking about for HHN in the states? Hard to say, but definitely some similarities going on here.

I mean, it's not hard to see just how one might think that from the images shown during the big reveal event. Looks like facehugger eggs to me!

Mati, "Death" in Malaysian, Camp will be a military themed..well, death camp. Torture, punishment and even forced cannibalism will be featured as Minister Goodwill unleashes the Sergeant Major on those who defy his will.  Definitely will be an intense ride by the sounds of it!

Jing, tormented as a school girl has returned and throughout this maze she'll terrorize all that cross her path. One of the more interesting things is that this maze will feature a variety of pre-war schools and mission schools for all of the incarnations of Jing to inhabit. Definitely a great sounding theme and hopefully the execution is just as good.

This brings us to one of the biggest surprises out there. Borrowing from Universal Orlando, Universal Singapore is bringing back one of the most iconic lunatics to Halloween Horror Nights 4.

That's right Jack's back! And while we won't be seeing him in the states, it's always welcome to bring back one of the most insane characters from Halloween Horror Nights history. Of course, as you can guess, this is a 3D clown themed maze and is sure to overload the senses. Sure, I'm not a fan of clowns and 3D as it's been done to death out there, but it's Jack and it's really hard to go against just how good of an icon he is.

But wait, there's more! Not only does Jack get his own house, but also an all new stage show for this year's event as well.

Guests will get to witness first hand how Jack convinces people to perform in his side show of tortures and it'll even feature some legendary side show acts as well, including Gordo Gamsby.

Now, onto the scare zones that will fill the park. While there's only four of them, it's definitely an interesting mix and the scares should keep people on their toes no matter what section of the park folks find themselves in.

The realm of Minister Goodwill, and the New York section of the park will never quite be the same. Split with a huge crack down the middle of it, complete with boiling lava and other fun things, and even aerial scare actors and elements to deal with. Not only that, but a unique and "random" stage show will be taking place as well. Sounds...incredible actually.

Teaming up with evil children and even adults, The Bogeyman has taken over the alleys of Water Street. This might even rival the intensity of some of the houses listed above as well.

Always fun to see kids being brought into the mix and for some reason they can be way scarier than adults...wonder why that is? Oh, that's right, they're evil.

Ah, the American Old West. However, things have gone very wrong here. Undead zombies, horses and Native Americans are battling it out for survival in this all new scare zone.

Definitely an interesting take on things and should be interesting to see how they transform Egypt into that.

Who doesn't love a good Fairy Tale? Well, you'll likely think twice as the Jurassic Park jungle is transformed into an evil and terrifying forest at night.

All the stories you've grown up with? Prepare to have that illusion ruined by their new and twisted nature.

And there ya have it, everything that we know of that's coming to Halloween Horror Nights 4 at Universal Singapore. Once again, like the Three Sisters theme from last year, it seems they're constantly trying to do new things and push the boundaries. Now, if only the folks back here would get off the movie and TV show kick and get back to that, we'd be in business!
