Additionally, we also now know the official dates for this year's event as well and it looks like they've added a few more days to the schedule, 18 in total, compared to last year. Definitely a good thing to see happening as 13 days was a little short!
This year's event will run October 3rd thru November 1st on Thursday, Friday, Saturday nights and for some reason Sunday, October 19th as well. Not enough time? Well, don't worry, you can get into the action early with the Freaky Preview weekend that takes place September 26th and 27th.
Like previous years Busch Gardens will close early and then reopen at 7:30pm for Howl-O-Scream and remain so until 1am on each night of the event. That's five and a half hours each night to enjoy not only the haunt but also all your favorite rides in the dark too.
There is of course the Thursday 4-Pack option as well, if you've got three other people it's only $35 a person for Thursday nights.
Though, if you're looking for even more fun, you can make a weekend out of it with the "Thrills & Chills Weekend Pass" which for $89.00 you get access to both Busch Gardens Tampa during the day and Howl-O-Scream at night. Yes, that's $89.00 for all four days, not a bad at all!
So, what can we expect this year? Well, it sounds like Death Water Bayou will be back along with The Basement from last year. However, there seems to be some hinting that some old time favorites could be returning after a long hiatus as well. Which ones? Hard to say right now, but stay tuned as I'm sure we won't have to wait too long to find out.
