[HoS2014] Official Dates and Times for Howl-O-Scream 2014 at Busch Gardens Williamsburg Surface

Well, earlier we thought we knew what the times and dates for this year's Howl-O-Scream event at Busch Gardens Williamsburg would be. The dates, pretty much on target. It's the times that were a bit off. Sadly they won't be open until midnight on any night if their website is to be believed.

However, the hours is where we got things a little off. Now that they've put the full calendar and times up on the official website, we can put that behind us. That said, they're still not getting it at all. I'm not sure what the thinking is but having only 4 nights of the park open until 11pm? Yeah, not cutting it here folks!

We ran into this problem last year, 4 hours wasn't even close to enough time to do everything and there's no way that adding an extra hour on a handful of Saturdays is going to help that. Seriously, I can't fathom what they're thinking over there with this. Their sister park in Tampa might only be open for 18 nights, but they're open until 2am, giving people 7 hours a night to enjoy the rides, shows and haunts that are part of Howl-O-Scream each night.

So, here's a look at this year's schedule and the times that the event will be open. If you're planning on attending this year, definitely plan to spend two days unless you get the Quick Queue for the event. Even that could be pushing it though if you want to see any shows during the time you're there and not feel super rushed. That said, it's also mystifying why the park isn't opening at all on Halloween Weekend.
