That said, there's a number of haunts opening up sometime in the Spring and even a few that are doing Easter themed events. Trust me, you've never seen the Easter Bunny, Leprechauns or others like how these guys have thought them up.
Now, not every haunt on this list is doing something holiday related, some are giving sneak peeks to their 2015 shows or just giving us a little extra scare. I'm sure that you'll be able to figure out which ones are which and as always, the list will be updated as more announce their plans along with dates and other info.
I'm gonna do this one a little different for this one, instead of just the random list, I'm going to be listing things in order of the states they're in, and dates they're open after that, but don't worry, a little description about the event will still be there like usual.
So, let's stop mincing words and get straight to the carnage. Here's everything that's coming through the end of May of 2015! Gonna stick this list after the jump so if ya don't see it right away, click those magic little word below.
UPDATE 3/16/15: Crossed off the events that have already happened, the others still coming in May and April!
Arkansas
Illinois
Camp Asylum (May 23rd) at Asylum of Mad Dreams - Cordova, IL
Joining the growing numbers of Horror Camp Out events, the folks at the Asylum of Mad Dreams are bringing their own taste of the insanity to those in Illinois. Just one night only in May, and only for those 18 and older, this one is a little pricier. Granted you are there all night, from 8pm until 8am, if you can survive. Tents run $300 and hold 4 people, so the more ya get with ya, the less it is for each!
You can find out all the details on the official Asylum of Mad Dreams website!
Indiana
Zombie Apocalypse: Return of the Dead (April 17th & 18th) at Cedar Rock Haunted Trail - Beanblossom, IN
Well, this one's definitely interesting and they're having a ton of fun with various updates and things on their Facebook page as well. I'm not entirely sure how this one is gonna work, but from the sounds of it, it's going to be another all night affair for you to try and survive through. Looks like Midnight until 9am on each night, not entirely sure to be honest. That said, what's not to love here though? Zombies, survival and all out craziness in the dark. Yeah, sign me up for that!
Tickets for this one run $50 ($45 for groups of 4 or more) and you can find out more info on the event page on their website or on their Facebook page as well!
A Night to Dismember: Zombie Prom (April 11th) at Fear Fair - Seymour, IN
Time to dig up the freshest grave ya can find for some finer apparel and make your way to Club Rox for a night of bloody good times. They'll have a make up artist from the haunt on hand so that you can get your best zombie face on, if you haven't already and get ready to jam the night away.
For more info on this one, check out the Facebook event page for times, directions and more!
Zombie Prom (April 4th) at Nightmare on Ash Street - Terra Haute, IN
No, you're not seeing double, there is yet another Zombie Prom happening in Indiana just seven days before the other. Kinda crazy but if ya got it in ya, and are really thirsting for blood, why not hit both up? So on April 4th, from 6:30-11pm get out there and shake off those parts ya don't need any more!
For more info on ticket prices, the location and a whole lot more, check out the Facebook event page!
Cupid's Curse (April 17th, 18th, 24th, 25th) at Stillwell Manor - Anderson, IN
Sure, this was originally to be a Valentine's Day event, but they've decided to move back this one and give us two weekends in April to enjoy the "horrors of love". Word is that they could be mixing in their very own Zombie Prom into things, but that's still not 100% certain yet.
The event is ages 16 and up and the doors will be open from 7:30-11pm. For more info check out the Stillwell Manor official website!
Kansas
Maryland
Missouri
Transworld Special Dates (March 19-21) at The Darkness - St. Louis, MO
Okay, I know what you're thinking, but I'm not going to Transworld, or I don't even know what that is! Well, not to worry, the folks at The Darkness are opening the doors to anyone looking to see their completely revamped attraction. Judging by some of the behind the scenes stuff they've been showing? This one is gonna be completely off the rails.
For more info, check out the official The Darkness website!
New Jersey
It's a trifecta events from the folks at Brighton Asylum and it seems like these guys are trying to bring something nearly every month of the year. It's insane, but they're definitely giving it there all. So, here's the breakdown of each event they have coming in the next three months! All of the events run from 8:30-10:30pm on their respective night.
Rottentail Slaughterhouse (April 4th) at Brighton Asylum - Passaic, NJ
Back once again is everyone's favorite psychotic bunny and I'm sure he'll have all kinds of candy to give out...well, maybe not. All of your favorite animal friends have taken over and they're going to have you for dinner.
Again, this one is a full contact night so the 18 and over rule applies for this one too.
Night of the Creeps (May 9th) at Brighton Asylum - Passaic, NJ
This one is playing off The Purge and everyone's favorite creeps should be out in full force to "feed the beast" and purge their sins. Oh yeah, gonna get interesting and fast with this one, can already tell.
Once more, only 18 years and older for this one as it's a full contact event.
For more info any of these events, head over to the official Bright Asylum website for all the details, tickets and more!
North Carolina
Ohio
Midwest Haunters Convention Special Dates (May 29th) at Haunted Hoochie - Pataskala, OH
Yet another Ohio haunt that we haven't made our way to yet, but the reputation behind this one definitely procedes it. Haunted Hoochie at Dead Acres is probably one of the most insane over the top haunts out there. Definitely one that has to be seen to believed...we don't quite yet, as we've not been there.
Either way, this is another convention special and not for a while, but definitely should check it out if you get the chance to. Head over to their official website for more info!
Pennsylvania
Halfway to Halloween at Castle Blood (May 1st-3rd) - Monessen, PA
This one's one of the more interesting and unique events that's happening this Spring. The folks at Castle Blood always put on great show and with the extras this time around? Definitely going to be one to remember. I'm not going to talk a ton about it since there's already an entire post about all the details and what to expect, so I'll just point you in that direction now.
That said, if you just wanna jump on this head over to the official Castle Blood website or check out the event page that's up on Facebook.
