[Haunts] Monessen's Castle Blood Announces Special Halfaway to Halloween Event

Earlier today the folks at Castle Blood announced their Halfway to Halloween event, held at the Castle in Monessen, PA on the first weekend in May. With the cancellation of National Haunters Convention this year, this is an officially sanctioned NHC event that's kind of taking its place for 2015, and is being done in partnership with the original Western PA Haunt Gathering.

This one is a serious can't miss for any haunter out there. Doesn't matter what level you are either; be it a home haunter, professional, or just an enthusiast that wants to know and learn more about the craft, you really don't want to skip this if you have the option. So, what I'm saying is that if you couldn't make their Lights On Behind the Scenes of Castle Blood event back in November, you really don't want to miss out on this one.

Now, let's get down to the details, shall we? Not only will Castle Blood be open for regular tours during the evening on Friday, May 1st and Saturday, May 2nd, (for all those who just can't get enough of Halloween), but Saturday they'll be holding a series of classes and lectures covering all kinds of topics related to haunting and Halloween throughout the day as well. Word is that there could be a few more surprises during the day and evening on Saturday, but nothing certain yet. Once we know, you'll know!

So, sound like your kinda thing and wondering how you can go? Well, got ya covered there as well and here's the breakdown of things:
  • $15 for Castle Tours Friday, May 1st and Saturday May 2nd (Regular haunt operation)
  • $75 for All Day Saturday Haunt Event (includes; classes, dinner, and evening tour)
Space is limited for the Saturday events, only 60 tickets available, which might seem like a lot, but you can bet that these will be snatched up quick. Now, as for what you get for your $75? Here's the schedule of events for Saturday May 2nd for those wanting to go all out;

What of the classes? Well, here's the official word on all that:
"All of the classes will all be haunt and home haunt related. no business or safety classes as we want this for the everyday halloween folks as well. There will be 4 tracks and 5 time slots, half of the classes will be repeated so you have a better shot at choosing the 5 you really want to see throughout the event as well."
Here's the schedule for Saturday:
  • Noon-5pm Classes and Lectures
  • 5pm: Dinner in the Castle Courtyard
  • 7pm: Evening Tours
However, if you act fast on this one, there's a great deal over on the Facebook event page, you can get in on the Saturday goings on for just $55. That's not a bad deal at all considering all that's included for this one.

You can be sure that the Kitsuneverse team will be there in force to bring all the goings on and our review of the entire weekend as well. So, stay tuned here, or on Twitter, Google+, Tumblr and even if Facebook (if you must),for all the lastest on this one and every other Haunt event coming this Spring!
