[Haunts] Insidious - Return to the Further Coming to Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood and Orlando

Well, it looks like we've gotten a double announcement this morning from Universal Orlando and Hollywood in regards to this year's Halloween Horror Nights. Right about noon, both Mike Aellio and John Murdy took to Twitter to announce the second maze for both halloween events.

Insidious: Into the Further will be coming to both parks in 2015. It's another maze based on an existing IP and with the popularity of the maze in previous years at HHN Hollywood, this makes a bit of sense. However, it is the third year in a row for them to have something based on the film franchise.

Both incarnations of Insidious: Return to the Further will let guests travel through scenes from all three movies, and of course, go into The Further for the first time. While, there's not a ton of info out from HHN Orlando, Hollywood's Creative Directory John Murdy did take to Twitter to give us a little info of what we can expect from this maze...and I think it's safe to say it'll be similar at both parks.
"When Chris & I sat down with Leigh to discuss our maze, we knew we wanted to embrace the entire franchise but not merely repeat 2013 again. So we looked for new opportunities in the first 2 films, new ideas as well as heavily featuring the 3rd film and THE MAN WHO CAN'T BREATHE. I thought Leigh created a great new demon for I3...you see him in our key art that just got released. You'll see him featured in the maze..."
Interesting, but that's not all, here's a little more in depth look at what the maze will feature;
"You'll also run into The Bride in Black, The Red Demon and all the Further Ghosts...new ones and old favs. The maze will be in JP queue. Speaking about THE FURTHER, you'll spend a lot more time in there. It plays a more prominent role, right from the beginning of the maze..."
And there ya have it, just what you can expect from the newest maze to grace the HHN line up for 2015. Definitely going to be an interesting one to see. From the sounds of it though, it looks like things are going to get a bit quiet for a bit on the announcement front. Not sure how long we'll have to wait but it could likely be until Scare LA in early August.

Until then, here's the announcement trailer for Halloween Horror Nights Orlando!

Stay tuned for more out Halloween Horror Nights at both Universal Orlando and Hollywood as the weeks roll on and remember to follow along with the insanity on Twitter, Google+, Tumblr and even Facebook for all the latest!
