It's that time of year again in Nagoya, Japan and hopefuls from around the world have gathered to show off their best in the quest to take the World Cosplay Summit title. Really though, it doesn't matter as just getting to this stage, after an entire year of hard work and several other events, it's just an awesome honor in and of itself.
We won't know the results from this year's competition, featuring representatives from 28 countries, until later but the kick off event, the parade of nations, was definitely something to behold. There's a lot of really great work here, and I gotta give a shout out to Spain for showing one of my all time favorite anime series a bit of love.
Overall, it looks like Brazil has a serious run for their money this time as quite a few countries have some amazing work on display here. It'll be interesting to see just how things shake out and who will take home the honors this year.
Anyway, with that out of my system, let's get to the pictures of this year's parade!
