[Haunts] Alien vs Predator Makes a Return for Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood in 2015!

Well, well, well. Get finished with one HHN story and there's another right on the doorstep, funny how that works. Anyway, just a short while ago, Universal Studios Hollywood announced that Alien vs Predator will be making return for 2015 for an encore.

Yep, that's right, the battle for the ultimate bad ass alien life form is back and you're invited to walk right into the middle of it again.

Not a ton of detail to go into on this one, as it is a returning theme and all that, but there will be some changes. Once again, I differ to Halloween Horror Nights Creative Director, John Murdy, for the details he shared about this one.

"Earlier in the year, I asked fans on Twitter to vote for their favorite mazes of all time. AVP was way on the top of the list...", Murdy said, "Certainly the Alien Queen is by far the craziest effect we've ever produced for HHN...want to see her 1 more time before she goes away. Truth be told, this maze was always conceived to be a 2 year play for us. The Predator spaceship, all those creatures! Only way to do it!"

So yep, while it's admittedly not a 100% new concept, there are a few new things being tossed into the mix. Most of the changes will be improvements on areas that the team noticed from last year, there's a new musical score, and likely a few other surprises as well being worked on. However, even Murdy admits, it's very similar to last year. Why mess with a good thing, right?

"If you didn't get to see AVP the first time, you have to see it this time! Probably going away for good after this. So one more time!", gonna take Murdy's on advice there, I would if I were you!

Overall, I'm really not surprised to see this one coming back at all, it was massively popular last year, but I have to wonder if it's only going to be out at Universal Hollywood. Would be interesting if Orlando decided to bring it back as well, but one never knows with these things.

Okay, now I think I'm done with HHN news for the day, really, it might actually be true. Well, that is of course unless the Orlando team decides to drop something on us. Either way, you can expect a lot more coming as Haunt Season is only a month away!

So, stay tuned for more indepth coverage and reviews of haunted attractions all over the US and of course, follow along with us on on Twitter, Google+, Tumblr, and even Facebook if you must, for all the latest!
