[Haunts] Enter The Breach and Prepare for a Close Encounter at Hundred Acres Manor

Wasn't it just a couple of days ago that Hundred Acres Manor announced their newest? Seems as if they're not finished with things just yet as their 13th year is featuring not one, but two all new attractions! This time, taking a little trip to outer space...which always goes well, right?

This is another that I have seen bits of, albeit in very rough stages, and I'm extremely curious how it's going to look in a few days. The alien theme is always a tough one, and a bit of a stretch for some to pull off and it'll be interesting to see just how the flow of the haunt works with this in there. Either way, a few things going on in this one are going to be surprising for those wandering the twisted halls and it'll be fun to see how everyone handles that.

Unlike this year's other addition, Hallows' Eve, The Breach was teased months ago, but not much was known on just what it was about. Now though? We've got a video teaser to help flesh that one out...

"Enter “Project Argos" the space-bound research facility, once pushing the limits of genetic testing, that has gotten out of hand. The creatures they were studying have been released, they have taken over, and now you have to escape. Be cautious as you pass through as there are dangers everywhere and these creatures from another void are awaiting your dismay. Can you breach the Argos spaceship and escape, or will the specimens devour your body like those who tried to control the ship before you."

All I can think of is "Game over, man. GAME OVER!" with a splash of "Where we're going, you don't need eyes to see". Could that be totally off? Sure, anything is possible, but I'm kind of hoping for that vibe of things and based on that description it seems just what we're going to get. Whenever you get the possibility to combine Aliens and Event Horizon, that's never a bad thing in my book.

I'm really looking forward to getting in there and seeing how it looks under show conditions and how the couple of tricks that are built into the maze play out with guests. Won't be long either, Hundred Acres Manor opens this Friday, September 6th and we'll be there opening night to see everything first hand!

Hundred Acres Manor is open on select nights (read: most) from Sept 6th thru October 31st, and you can find tickets, directions, and other info over on their official website.
